Rwanda Welcomes Emir of Qatar for Official Visit

His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar, has arrived in Rwanda for a two-day official visit aimed at strengthening the ties between the two nations.

President Paul Kagame welcomed the Emir upon his arrival at Kigali International Airport. The two leaders held a tête-à-tête meeting before proceeding to the President's farm in Kibugabuga for a tour.

In a gesture rich with cultural significance, President Kagame gifted His Highness with a herd of Inyambo cows. This traditional Rwandan offering symbolizes deep friendship, respect, and the solidifying bond between Qatar and Rwanda.
