Rwanda Defence Force Delegation Participates in DIMDEX 2026 in Doha

A Rwanda Defence Force delegation, led by Brig. Gen. Stanislas Gashugi, Commander of the RDF Special Operations Force, participated in the ninth edition of the Doha International Maritime Defence Exhibition and Conference (DIMDEX 2026), held in Doha from 19–22 January.

Hosted at the Qatar National Convention Center under the gracious patronage of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, and organized by the Qatar Armed Forces, DIMDEX 2026 marked the largest edition since its inception. Held under the theme “A Global Hub for Defence Innovations – Invest in Possibilities to Shape a Secure Tomorrow,” the exhibition brought together more than 200 local and international companies, eight major international pavilions, and over 130 high-level official delegations from 82 countries.

Over four days, DIMDEX served as a strategic platform for showcasing cutting-edge defence technologies, fostering international partnerships, and discussing future maritime and security solutions.
