Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College Delegation Visits Qatar for International Study Tour
The Rwanda Defence Force Command and Staff College (RDFCSC) delegation, led by Brigadier General Andrew Nyamvumba, is currently in the State of Qatar for a one-week International Study Tour. This visit aims to provide an in-depth understanding of Qatar’s history, defense and security geopolitics, and socio-economic development.
As part of their itinerary, the delegation visited the Joaan Bin Jassim College of Defense Studies (JBJCDS) and the National Defense College (NDC), where they were warmly received by the College Commander of the Joint Command and Staff College, Brigadier General Engineer Abdul Hadi Hamad Fahd Al-Dussari, and the Commander of the National Defense College, Staff Brigadier Abdulhadi Mohd T. A. Al-Hajri.
In addition, the delegation is set to visit several key establishments, including the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Al Jazeera English Channel, the Qatar Olympic and Sports Museum, and the Museum of Islamic Art. These visits will provide the delegation with insights into Qatar’s diplomatic engagements, media landscape, Qatar’s rich historical heritage.
The International Study Tour serves as an opportunity for the RDFCSC to enhance its officers’ strategic knowledge and foster international collaboration. Through engagements with various Qatari institutions, the delegation aims to gain broader insights into the country's development strategies and international engagements.
