Rwanda and Qatar Team Up for Tech Progress
On November 9, 2023, The Ministry of ICT in Rwanda and the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology in Qatar signed an MoU during the Qatar Africa Business Forum held in Rwanda.
The forum, initiated in 2022 by Sheikha Al Mayassa Bint Hamad Bin Khalifa Al Thani, aimed to foster partnerships between Qatar and Africa for inclusive growth and innovation. The event brought together leaders, entrepreneurs, and officials to exchange ideas and explore solutions.
The signed MoU wasn't just ink on paper; it represented a commitment to technological progress and socio-economic development. This alliance between Rwanda and Qatar marked the beginning of a new era, promising collaboration and shared prosperity in the realm of technology.
